I had planned an art show located in Estes Park. Of course, I extended my stay, so I could explore the Rocky Mountain National park. This shot was taken somewhere on Trail Ridge Road and because the storms were rolling over the mountains I pulled my digitally converted infrared camera. I wanted to capture the raw moodiness of the storms coming over the mountain. I loved using only black, white and gray stain glass to bring out the essence of the photograph.
